Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. - 1 Peter 4:16
The Emblem Explained
The Word
The word Christian is a title of greatest honor given to anyone who is in Christ through believing in Him as Savior. Every Christian is identified with Christ in His death, burial, and subsequent resurrection. Christians, who are also called saints in the Bible, are members of God’s royal family. They have an eternal life that they cannot lose and that can never be taken from them. Every Christian will always be in God's family. God will love and care for them eternally just as a father loves and cares for his precious children.
John 10:28-29 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
Titus 3:5-7 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace, we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
