Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.                  - 1 Peter 4:16

The Emblem Explained

The TRIANGLE

The Triangle shape represents the members of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who are equal in deity and attributes but have distinct responsibilities. The Word of God is filled with references to the Trinity although the actual word, a theological term, is never used.

John 1:1 Jesus is God. In the beginning was the Word [Jesus Christ], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Philippians 1:2 The Father is God. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14:26 The Holy Spirit is God. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Since the Bible often declares that the only true God exists (Mark 12:29) as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we know that these three are the living God, our Creator and Sustainer.

Genesis 1:26a And God said, Let us [the Trinity] make man in our own image, after our likeness.

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
