Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.                  - 1 Peter 4:16

The Emblem Explained

The HEART & BIBLE Combined

At the moment of salvation, God changes us. Immediately, we have the capacity to love Him and all others. As we learn and obey God’s Truth, God the Holy Spirit gives us His power to love and be kind to even the most obnoxious people. And the more we learn about God through our intensive study of His Word, the Bible, the better we can follow His command to love Him. Then, our appreciation for His many blessings to us will soar.

II John 1: 6a This is love, that we walk according to His commandments.

Philippians 1:9-10 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.

I John: 4:19-20 We love because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
